2009 Trivia Night Winners

Just a word of thanks to everyone who helped make Trivia Night a success this year. We are extremely grateful to everyone who helped move furniture on Friday night and after the game on Saturday night. The added manpower really helped make set-up and clean-up a breeze!

There were 18 teams participating this year. Lots of cash prizes were awarded.

The game winners had much higher scores than last year. Have you guys been studying?

Game Winners:

1^st Place           score of 83, estimated score of 80 - Squadra Senza Nome Team; The team included Joe & Ellen O’Coin, Larry & Ginny Marten, Joseph & Jamie O’Coin, Chris Pauk and Mike Serise.

2^nd Place          score of 78, estimated score of 79 - British Intelligence Team; The team consisted of Ray & Judy Markham, Craig & Lisa Markham, Steve & Lisa Livingston and Scott & Christe Markham

3^rd Place           score of 78, estimated score of 70 - Team Tim (Baseball Team); The team consisted of Tim McCullen Craig Jones, Mark Jones, Keith Jones, Jennifer Jones, Tosha Woodard, Debbie Woodard and Bridget Evers

Again this year, teams went all out on their table decorations.  The judging was very difficult  because of the amazing creativity of our HHR residents. Your table theme gives the committee an insight to your “hidden” personalities! So many tables were phenomenal this year and we wish we could have given more prizes.

Decorated Table Winners:

1^st Place           Greed is Good; Complete with plenty of cash, briefcases and Trophy wives, this team representing AIG executives gave everyone a few laughs. Team members included Cheryl & Larry Lachalmelle, Monte Kay & Larian Johnson, Nita & Fred Meier and Jane & Joe Lonigro.

2^nd Place          The Silverados; Lady Godiva (complete with horse and long hair) was accompanied by her loyal subjects including Peeping Toms!  Team Members included Mary Ann & Barry Bingham, Linda & Paul Hanson, Joyce & Bill Emrick and Barbara & Steve Metivier

3^rd Place           Team Kruse; This team showed us many of the recent scandals…Even Octo-Mom was here with her little ones! Team members included Shirley & Larry Kruse, Marian Watson, Judy Neely, Joycie & Dick Ulney and Ann & Ed Conroy

Rieder’s Rebels won the Bonus Category with 7 out of 10 correctly identified pictures of celebrities when they were young. Team members included Jean Ann & Terry Rieder, Carol Knopfel, John Aubuchon, Sara & John Denother and Grace & Dave Knopfel.

The Dead or Alive game resulted in Bob Romanin winning first place and Sara Denother winning second place. They really know dead people!
